Decreasing EBIT for Austrian SME

Domestic Small and Medium Enterprises record a decline in their return on investment. Lower finance costs could offset this effect. 40% of all SME are in the red zone.

The average return on sale for Austrian SME was 2.5% in 2009/10, which is an improvement by 0.16 percentage points. The average EBIT however declined by 0.36 percentage points.
