European Forum Alpbach 2012: Andreas Treichl, CEO of Erste Group thinks that the internationalization of the banking industry cannot be reversed. According to Treichl, the European citizens will have to pay for the crisis.

At the Alpbach Financial Market Symposium 2012, the future of the banking industry was discussed. According to the motto “Internationalization or Re-Nationalization of the Banking Business?”, Byron Haynes and Andreas Treichl were asked about the future of the banking industry and their role in the financial crisis.
