Among the EU members, the Czech Republic shows the highest percentage of people working in the industrial sector.

38.4% of the Czech workforce is employed in the industrial sector. This is the highest percentage in the EU, Eurostat said. The Czech Republic is followed by Slovakia (37%). Regarding the weekly labor time, the Czech Republic (41.0 hours) is slightly above the EU average of 40.4 hours.
