Construction Costs Continue to Increase
August brought a further rise in construction costs: +2.3% against 2010, +0.3% compared to July 2011.

The construction cost index for construction of residential buildings reached 102.7 index points for August 2011, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. This represents an increase of 2.3% over August 2010. In comparison to July 2011 the index increased by 0.3%.
