Energy-related CO2 emissions decreased in 2009 in Austria by 4.75m tons or 7.4% to 59m tons, according to WIFO estimates

CO2 emissions decreased by about 2m tons in the energy sector, by about 1.6m tons in the “Production and Services" sector and by about 1.14m tons in the "Transportation" sector.
