The Czech National Bank underlines that the country´s economy is fundamentally stable. The current situation would be managable.

CNB´s Vice Governor Mojmir Hampl notes that the economic situation of the Czech Republic is not comparable to other European countries. Hampl stresses that the financial sector does not face problems and that the real economy does not suffer from a credit crunch. Besides that, public debt would not be excessive and there is no tendency of deflation, Hampl underlined.
