CESEE Banks: Small Exposure in Southern Europe
The riskiness of assets held by CESEE banks is manageable, the U.S. rating agency Fitch says. The CESEE region has closer links to Western Europe than to Southern Europe.

According to Fitch, the exposure of CESEE banks in Southern Europe is very small, Fitch says. As a result, the riskiness of their assets would be manageable. Not only the exposure has a stronger focus on Western Europe, but also foreign trade is linked more closely to Western Europe.
