The biggest Austrian bank wants to reduce the number of branches from 350 to 250 in the next two years.

In order to reduce costs, Bank Austria optimizes its branch structure. About a third of Bank Austria´s branches will be closed until 2015. According to Bank Austria´s CEO Willibald Cernko, downsizing measures are inevitable. This measure only concerns the branches in Austria.
