Unlike their counterparts in Central and Eastern Europe, Czech bankers are relatively satisfied with the performance of the domestic banking market.

According to a survey carried out by KPMG, a significant majority of bankers in Central and Eastern Europe said that the economic development was negative last year. About two thirds of them said that the performance of the banking market was worse than in the year before.
