Slight increase of consumer price inflation to 2.2% (HICP 2.2%) in June 2012.

The annual inflation rate of the consumer price index measured by Statistics Austria was 2.2% in June (May 2.1%, April 2.3%). Price increases for "housing, water and energy" (+3.2%) caused more than a quarter of the inflation, food prices (+2.6%) accounted for one-eight.
