Austrian-Chinese Trade at All-Time High

Last year, bilateral trade volume rose by 13% in 2011 to over € 9bn. Austrian Exports rose by 11.7%.

Austria’s overall export industry reached an all-time high in 2011 with export volumes of € 122.16bn (+11.7%). Imports also rose by 15% to € 130.76bn. These figures exceeded the previous trade high from 2008, even against the backdrop of the international economic slump and the European debt crisis.
