In total, non-performing loans held by Austrian banks come at € 150bn. This corresponds to 48% of Austria´s GDP.

According to a study issued by the advisory group pwc, the volume of non-performing loans at the six biggest Austrian banks (Bank Austria, Erste Group, Raiffeisen Bank International, VBAG, Bawag and Hypo Group) totals € 150bn.
