Against previous expectations, the Austrian subsidiary of Lufthansa could not improve its results in 2011 compared to 2010.

Austrian Airlines sees itself forced do sharpen its austerity package again. The restructuring aims were not reached in 2011, expected losses total € 64m. As a result, the result of 2010 could not be improved. Initially, AUA´s management planned to record operating profits.
