Austria’s Tax Revenues 7.6% Higher than in 2010

The state’s total revenue was up by 8.2%, while expenditures increased by only 1.08% in the period January to September.

In the first three quarters of the year, Austria’s revenues from taxes and duties increased by € 3.5bn or 7.6% compared to the same period in 2010. From January to September, the Ministry of Finance recorded gross revenue of € 49.6bn, compared to € 46.1bn last year. The figures were perfectly in line with expectations, according to the ministry.
