Austria: Post Shows Solid Revenues

In 2012, Austrian Post generated € 123.2m and was therefore able to slightly increase the turnover. € 1.80 is being declared per share, which is a raise of € 0.10.

Experts had predicted a profit acceleration of € 136m. Yet, this target could not be attained. According to head of Post AG, Georg Pölzl, the company generated € 123.2m which is exactly the result of 2011. Revenues increased by 0.7 % which equals € 2.366bn and the operative result (EBIT) was raised by 8.9 %, which is € 182.3m. The EBIT margin was at 7.7 %.
