A clear majority of Austrian citizens think that the corporate tax rate should increase.

According to the Austrian newspaper “Standard”, 58% of the Austrians want to increase taxes on private trusts. Moreover, 51% call for higher taxes on corporate income. About the half of the interviewees supports higher financial transaction taxes. 26% of the respondents oppose to that opinion. By contrast, 74% are against an increase of income taxes.
