After last week’s S&P report said KA Finanz was prone to needing further state funding, the rating agency apologized to the banking institute.

KA Finanz, state-owned winding-down bank of nationalized-by-force Kommunalkredit Group will, according to bank manager Alois Steinbichler, apart from a debtor warant and a Basel III surcharge not need any further state support.
