Austria: Bank Accounts of Ukrainians to be Frozen

At the instigation of the new Ukrainian government Austria will freeze the bank accounts of 18 Ukrainians at domestic banks until further notice.

The request was posted in the light of possible violations of human rights during the extremely violent struggle for power in the Ukraine and/or the suspicion of corruption, which was announced by the Austrian Foreign Ministry on Friday to Austrian Press Agency APA.
The blocking of bank accounts is carried out in consultation with the European External Action Service in Brussels…
