The new management of Austrian Airlines faces fierce resistance by the workforce. The new austerity package is heatedly contested.

Today, about 1,000 members of AUA´s workforce protested against the new wage scheme plans designed by the new management. This year, CEO Jaan Albrecht wants to cut costs by € 140m.
