For one month, the Mexican investor Carlos Slim is the second-biggest investor at Telekom Austria. This week, he collected information about Telekom Austria´s technology and marketing strategy.

At the moment, the publicly held Austrian industrial holding ÖIAG has a 28.4% stake in Telekom Austria. The new shareholder Slim has a 27% stake. The free float at Telekom Austria comes at 21%. Slim expects that the closing taxes place within the next two months.
