The privatization of the state-owned Kosovan PTK has begun. Telekom Austria will not participated in the sales process.

At the end of June, the privatization process of the Kosovan telecommunication operator PTK has officially begun. The Kosovan government sells 75% of PTK´s stakes. Last year, the privatization has failed. The offered price by potential investors were too low for the local government.
