AMAG´s CEO: “No Contact with Pecik”

The Chief Executive Officer of the Austrian metal company, Gerhard Falch, said he’s not been in contact with investor Ronny Pecik.

Format magazine reported on Feb. 23 that Pecik is interested in acquiring JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s 34.5 percent stake in the Austrian aluminum producer, citing unidentified bankers.
AMAG has no influence on who JPMorgan may sell its holding to, Falch told reporters in Vienna today, adding that he’d appreciate a bigger free float of the company’s stock.
