To mark “Zafer Bayramı” (Victory Day) and Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Türkiye, the Turkish Embassy in Vienna hosted a festive reception on Monday, August 31, 2026. Numerous high-ranking representatives from the diplomatic, political, and business communities, as well as prominent members of the Turkish community, accepted the invitation extended by the Turkish Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Dr. Gürsel Dönmez, and the Military Attaché, Colonel Murat Doğusoy.

Given the Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Türkiye, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Ozan Ceyhun, and Military Attaché Colonel Serdar Mercan invited to a reception. The event took place at the Turkish Embassy in Vienna and also marked the first diplomatic meeting after the summer break.
