Bastille Day at the French Embassy and a Distinguished Award in Vienna
In July, Franco-Austrian relations are traditionally marked by close friendship, European values, and festive occasions. This year, two outstanding events in Vienna and Salzburg provided cause for celebration: the ceremonial presentation of France’s highest honor to a leading Austrian politician, as well as the glamorous celebrations marking France’s National Day (Bastille Day) on July 14 in the Austrian capital.
