At the end of June, the moment finally arrived: On Hallam Street in London, where Zweig once lived in exile, Eva Alberman—the niece of Zweig’s second wife, Lotte—unveiled the iconic blue plaque. State Secretary Sepp Schellhorn attended the ceremony and, on behalf of Austria, expressed a commitment to a deeper culture of remembrance.
