German-Speaking Heads of State Discuss Europe's Future and Climate Change in Tyrol
The heads of state of the six German-speaking countries gathered in Tyrol for the traditional 22nd informal six-nation meeting. Under the unifying theme “Cohesion in Europe,” Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, together with his wife Doris Schmidauer, welcomed his counterparts and their spouses to Innsbruck.

Alexander Van der Bellen is currently on a state visit to Belgium. Besides a reception with King Philippe and Queen Mathilde the program included talks on the war in Ukraine and high energy prices with senior Belgian politicians and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
