Austria Unveils New Cultural Policy for Overseas Engagement 2026–2032
Under the central theme of “The Power of Transformative Relationships,” more than one hundred diplomats, heads of cultural forums, and representatives from the arts and sciences gathered in Vienna. The occasion for this year’s Conference on Cultural Relations Abroad (AKT), organized by the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA), was a landmark step for Austrian soft power: the presentation of the new Cultural Relations Abroad Concept 2026–2032.
