VIG: Expansion Plans in Baltic States

According to a report by “Wirtschaftsblatt”, the Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) plans to expand business activity in the Baltic States. From 2014 on, the Austrian insurance company will start conquering the Estonian insurance market.

In an interview with Tallin-based daily “Postimees”, CEO of VIG Peter Hagen announced plans about entering the insurance market in Estonia at the beginning of next year. According to the CEO, VIG intends to focus on the sector non-life insurances.
