According to statistics, which were published by Eurostat on Thursday, Vienna is among the Top 10 of the economically strongest regions in Europe again.

At a GDP per capita of 165 % in 2010 above EU average, Vienna ranks 10th of the strongest economic regions in Europe.
Forerunner of the statistic is the Inner City of London with a GDP per capita of 328 %. The lowest rates were found in the Bulgarian Region Severozapaden (26 %). London is followed by Luxemburg, Brussels and Hamburg.
