Verbund continues to invest in renewable energy. Today, the company announced to have acquired five wind farms in the German Federal State Rhineland-Palatine. In total, the portfolio contains 21 wind power plants. The capacity total 86 MW, up to 70,000 households may be served. The commissioning is planned to take place until mid 2013.
