Italian bank UniCredit considers to extend business at the growing Polish market by a take-over.

According to CEO of UniCredit Federico Ghizzoni, the bank has placed an offer without engagement for local cooperative bank BGZ, which is currently owned by Dutch Rabobank. However, the Dutch bank announced in June about the planning of assessing the strategic operation of BGZ. According to reports by the media, the Polish bank may have a value of around US-$ 1bn.
