The Kreditschutzverband (KSV, Credit Protection Association) has established an 8% decrease in corporate insolvencies.

In Austria, 6,366 businesses went insolvent, which compared to 2009, represents a decrease of almost 8%. In 3,529 cases, bankruptcy proceedings were started (-6% vs. 2009) and only in 2,837 cases insolvency proceedings could not be instituted because of the lack of assets.
