Telekom Austria Closes Acquisition of Croatian B.net

The Austrian telecommunications group has received green light from Croatia’s competition authority for the acquisition of the country’s largest cable operator.

Today, the Telekom Austria Group announced the closing of the acquisition of the Croatian cable operator B.net via its Croatian subsidiary Vipnet. Based on an agreed total purchase price of € 93m, Vipnet acquired 100% of shares of B.net on 8 August 2011 allowing it to gain full control of the company.
