In May, the ratification by the Swiss National Council was approved by a significant majority. 138 members of the Swiss Parliament voted for the tax deal, 51 members were against the treaty. Now, the second chamber of the Swiss Parliament gave its express consent. The tax treaty between Switzerland and Austria will enter into force in 2013.
