The supervisory board member Alexander Sollak claims that not dividends should be paid out for 2011. Instead, the equity base should be strengthened.

Alexander Sollak, who is a member of Telekom´s supervisory board and part of the works council, claims a long-term strategy for Telekom. The cut of the dividend for 2011 and 2012 is regarded as “first step”. In December, the management announced that dividend will be reduced from € 0.76 to € 0.38. “The best option would be a dividend suspension.”
