Speculations on Improvement of Bid of Telekom Austria in Serbia

Telekom Austria (TA) has time until 12 April to increase the bid for a majority stake in Telekom Srbija. TA does not seem to be totally uninterested.

The Serbian government insists -also because of domestic political pressure from the unions- on its requirement that TA meets the minimum price of € 1.4bn. Otherwise, there is absolute silence concerning ongoing negotiations. The resumption of the talks indicates however that TA is actually prepared to raise its offer significantly.
