Due to a general strike, Slovenia comes to a standstill. More than 100,000 public servants protest against social cuts.

After the Slovenian Constitutional Court has declared that a public vote on the privatization and austerity policy is unconstitutional, the trade union has decided to initiate a general strike. Besides that, the opposition parties and the trade unions combated the creation of a bad bank.
