Slovenia and Austria to Deepen Co-Operation

The Slovenian Minister of Economics Radovan Zerjav and the President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce Christoph Leitl want to intensifiy the economic co-operation.

Leitl emphasized that Slovenia and Austria have traditionally good economic relationships. In the first seven months of 2012, Austrian exports reached € 1.3bn. According to Leitl, 50% of the foreign direct investments in Slovenia are made by Austrian businesses. The FDI volume comes at € 6.0bn.
