In July 2012, the volume of money deposits in Slovak banks totaled € 24.5bn. Against July 2011, this is an increase by 6.1%. One year ago, the average deposit reached € 4,151. Thus, savings grew by € 228. According to economists, Slovaks tend to save more during bad times.
