The economic perspective for Slovakia remains rather gloomy. In 2014, Slovakia´s economy will reach the turnaround.

According to the Slovak Ministry of Finance, the economic growth rate will come at 0.8% this year. In the prior forecast, the Ministry of Finance projected a growth rate of 0.5%. The main reasons for the slight improvement are the growth in household consumption and exports to EU countries.
