Siemens Austria Receives an Order for Poland

The Austrian subsidiary of the German technology group will supply 35 trains worth € 272m of the new Metro-generation "Inspiro" to Poland.

The Warsaw Underground has commissioned a consortium formed by Siemens and the Polish manufacturer Newag with the delivery of 35 six-car metro trains worth € 272m. This is also the first order for complete vehicles of the new Metro generation "Inspiro", which was recently presented at the world's largest rail exhibition, InnoTrans.
