Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has given up hope for a new date in June for the beginning of EU accession negotiations. Russian Prime Minister Medvedev expressed support.

After the meeting with German and French Members of Parliament in Belgrade yesterday, he explained that he had received the information in a “decent and nice” way that Belgrade could not count on the starting of negotiations about joining the EU in June.
