In 2014 the Western Balkan state is expected to achieve only an insignificant economic growth rate.

According to the budget projection for 2014, economic growth will only come at a meagre one percent after this year’s growth rates are projected at two percent. The reasons for this insignificant growth rate are too few investmentes made and a weakening consumption power as well as increasing budget expenditures, according to a press release by the Serbian parliament.
