For 2012, Austrian salaries will rise by 3.0% on average. This is beyond the inflation rate by 0.8%.

Austrian salaries will increase stronger than the inflation does. The expected inflation rate for 2012 amounts to 2.2%. Even the European average salary increase will be surpassed – on average, Western Europeans receive a rise of 2.7%. This is the result of the advisory company Mercer.
