A year ago, Russia joined the World Trade Organization (WTO). However, the country is not satisfied with the results despite of having negotiated about joining for 19 years.

The desired results have apparently not yet shown for Russia. According to Masim Mevedekov, chief negotiator during last year’s joining procedure, there are still more than one hundred trade barriers for Russia from which 30 are “really disturbing”. The country has to provide clarification for some of them.
