On Tuesday, the coalition between Social Democrats (PSD) and the National Liberal Party (PNL), which was formed around three years ago, was terminated after ongoing disputes lasted for more than two weeks about administrative positions. The governing parties were not able to agree on a replacement of the public offices. Now, PLN calls for Prime Minister Ponta’s resignation.
