Government opponents tried to break through security fences.

On Wednesday, participants of a protest in front of the parliamentary building in Sofia tried several times to break through the security fence. However, a heavily armed special force prevented the protesters from entering the building. Members of the parliament had a session for the first time after the summer break. At least one demonstrator was arrested.
