RBI Terminates Business on Crimea

The Ukrainian affiliate of Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), Bank Aval, has terminated its business activity on Crimea.

As announced by the lender to the Austrian Press Agency (APA) yesterday evening, the remaining six of 32 bank shops were closed today on Crimea. The branches on Crimea had only contributed two percent of the bank’s overall profit in Ukraine, and therefore are “not a huge source of revenue”.
