Proceedings Against Bulgarian Subsidiary of OMV Stopped

The Bulgarian Competition Authority KZK stopped investigations against OMV Bulgaria, Rompetrol, Lukoil and Naftex Petrol. The companies were suspected of price fixing.

Today, Bulgarian KZK announced that the proceedings were stopped. The companies have made suggestions to improve the competition in Bulgaria. As a result, there is no reason of continuing the proceesings anymore, KZK said. Moreover, the Bulgarian Competition Authority explained that Lukoil did not abuse ist market power.
