According to the Ministry, all regions are affected by the increase in unemployment. The number of vacancies was down by 18,800 to 48,700. In total, 2.14 million Polish citizens were unemployed. Compared to December 2011, this is an increase by 155,000 persons. Due to the economic slowdown, economists expect that Poland´s unemployment quota will increase slightly in the next months.
